Campaign History On December 17th 1999 Ruth Wyner, the Director of Wintercomfort for the homeless in Cambridge England, and John Brock, the charity's Day Centre Manager, were sent to prison for five and four years respectively because some of the people they were helping were secretly exchanging drugs on the premises. Cambridge Two appeal On 21st December 2000 the Royal Court of Appeal delivered
its verdict: the convictions against Ruth and John have been upheld. On Friday 1st December
the Cambridge Two, charity workers Ruth Wyner and John Brock went to the
Appeal Court in an effort to clear their names.
