The Overstream Funds for the Cambridge Two Campaign

The Campaign has two funds: The Overstream Support Fund which is for Ruth and John's, and their families' immediate needs: it contributes to their mortgages, prison visits, weekly prison allowances (£15 per week), and also solicitors fees. It is called the Overstream Support Fund after Overstream House, the name of the building that houses the Wintercomfort charity.

The Overstream Fighting Fund pays for the Campaign expenses. These include marches, monthly vigils, press releases, campaign phone bills, travel expenses for talks and stalls, the Campaign CD, t-shirts, badges, the newsletter, mailing costs and stationery. The Campaign spends approximately £1500 per month keeping Ruth and John's case in the public eye. This fund is now in the red. Can you help with a donation or by selling t-shirts, badges and CDs? Do you know a local record seller who might help? Perhaps you know someone who can supply the Campaign with free stamps and envelopes, or a free Campaign secretary.

Whatever happens post the appeal in December 2000, this fund will still need to pay off its debts, so anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated.
